GPP

The CareConvoy is a very simple
concept that began in South
Central Idaho.

We ask emergency services
organizations, agencies and
districts to set aside materials and
equipment that still has some use
to it, rather than discarding it. We
regularly collect these donations
and drive truckloads down to
Mexico. With the help of the
Mexican Red Cross, we share them
with ambulance crews and
firefighters from communities all
across Mexico.

These, nevertheless, usable
materials, that would as a rule be
discarded or destroyed in the
United States, are provided to
communities that have genuine
need of these life saving donations.

In our first large organized effort
last November, we distributed more
than $78,000 worth of supplies. We
are a few weeks away from our
next trip and we already have more
than $200,000 in donations being
held for us by a variety of local
agencies.
